These pants look great, but the suggestion to size down if you are a woman (because these are men’s sizing) was way off. If you have any hips, buy your usual size. I am typically a size 6 or 28 in US sizing, and the small is way too tight at the waist, and my leg movement is restricted by the pants being snug at the hips.
